Muzium & Galeri Tuanku Fauziah (MGTF), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is pleased to announce that it will organize an exhibition titled H3RO: A DECADE - Love & Compassion Across Dimensions. The exhibition will be held from October 1, 2024 until March 31, 2025.
H3RO: A DECADE features a combination of archival objects with a new series of artworks by Hasnul J Saidon, in collaboration with Rozana Mohamed, Anderson Ee, Afzanizam Mohd Ali, Muhammad Husni Abd. Latiff, Tetriana Ahmed Fauzi, Nur Fitrah Ramli, Muhammad Syakir Shahardi and Ooi Yong Hui. The exhibition is designed and co-curated by Hasnul J Saidon, Afzanizam Mohd Ali & Anderson Ee with technical support from MGTF USM team.
This exhibition is a tribute to the lives of Saidon Pandak Noh and Jamaliah Noordin, whose journey began in the humble surroundings of Kampung Teluk Kepayang in Bota Kiri, Perak between 1927 and 1947. Despite their limited formal education, they worked tirelessly to build a life together, moving to Teluk Intan in 1955. Through their unwavering love and commitment, they raised nine beloved children (five sons and four daughters) while navigating the joys and challenges of life. Their legacy is a testament to the power of hard work, patience, and perseverance. Saidon and Jamaliah's dedication not only transformed their own lives but also profoundly impacted the lives of their descendants and surrounding communities including their friends, neighbours and students.
In this spirit, we would like to invite you to the Official Opening of H3RO: A DECADE - Love & Compassion Across Dimensions on October 16, 2024 (Wednesday), 10.00am at MGTF, USM. The exhibition will be officiated by Y.Bhg. Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dzulkifli Bin Abdul Razak, former Rector, The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

PENGANJURAN BUTTERWORTH FRINGE FESTIVAL TAHUN 2024
Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai dengan sokongan Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang akan menganjurkan Butterworth Fringe Festival 2024 (BFF 2024) yang akan diadakan pada 14-15 September 2024 (Sabtu-Ahad) bermula jam 5.00 petang sehingga 11.00 malam bertempat di Padang Pemuda Merdeka, Butterworth.
Pelbagai acara tempatan dan antarabangsa bakal dipersembahkan secara PERCUMA kepada komuniti. BFF adalah salah satu platform dalam memperkenal dan mempromosikan komponen pelancongan dan ekonomi kreatif yang berkonsepkan Street Art Festival dan memangkin aktiviti Local Economic Development (LED) bagi komuniti Seberang Perai khasnya dan Negeri Pulau Pinang secara amnya.
